The Hyper-Sub Multipurpose Sub-Sea Vehicle stands as the world’s first marine vessel to be successfully tested and function both as a long-range speedboat and a submarine. It boasts the ability to be launched swiftly and effortlessly from nearly any location, including docks or beaches, in waters as shallow as three feet, without requiring additional support, and operates reliably in open sea conditions. The Hyper-Sub can cover vast distances, up to 500 miles, at impressive surface speeds and is capable of diving to depths of 500 feet (or up to 1,000 feet with specific cabin configurations), all while being able to cruise fully submerged in waters as shallow as 15 feet.

Its onboard recharging capabilities allow for numerous dives, enabling submerged travel for hundreds of miles in a single mission. This feature not only keeps the crew dry, extending dive and deployment durations but also greatly enhances the vehicle’s utility, operational time, and flexibility. Additionally, it can transport or be equipped with over 6,000 lbs of cargo or equipment, catering to a wide array of user requirements.

As a versatile Multipurpose Sub-Sea Vehicle (MSV), the Hyper-Sub is suitable for an extensive range of activities including personal leisure, tourism, inspections of oil & gas pipelines and rigs, underwater research or salvage operations, security and surface patrols, interdiction, search and rescue, recovery, monitoring and maintenance, ISR operations, special operations forces delivery, as well as anti-piracy or anti-mine tasks, among other government and military applications.
